Triple9,

Well if it is NEW out of the Box Send it back as there is a Two Year Warranty on it.

"As long as the FACTORY SEAL is not broken"

Almost $400.00

Copper has them for $324.99

Without Checking the Radio it could be ANYTHING, or it could have been damaged in shipping.

Either way with it Being NEW out of Box I would suggest calling and getting return Information.

When you say no power, do you mean the lights want even come on.
I had a strange happening a couple days ago, I know this is not the kind of problem you have, but anyway, I turned on one of my Ranger mobils, and nothing came on, no lights or anything, and I had used it just a day or so before. I opened the fuse holder enough to see the fuse was not blown, then I pulled the power cord out from the radio and checked it with my volt meter, it showed about 13 volts. So I thought the radio had problems, I took the bottom off and checked for voltage inside the power plug, it showed ok, then I turned the radio on and nothing, so I checked at the power plug with it on, it had dropped to about 2 volts. I then took the fuse out so I could see it good, it had corroded so much on one end that it would not let enough amperage go thur to power the radio. I don't remember that happening before in about 30 years of messing with these things. I've had corrosion build up on my connections at the battery before and lose voltage from on use to the next, but not on a fuse. scrapiron
