I've got a 4800DXL without echo, keys 5 and swings 10. My galaxy 88 keys 5 and swings 40 - 50 on the same meter. Can the 4800 match this? and if so what mods do I need to have done??

OK I had my tech do the mods Jeff sent over and now the Connex keys 10 and swings 40 - 50! This radio screams! I'm please and thanks to Jeff, kc0gxz for the mod info.

Oooooh. Well, that was certainly clear and to-the-point.
Hmmmmmm. Maybe some kind of fund raising program is in order.

3,000 pages retyped (in progress , I paid $2400 to Bob our administrator at work to do it , he types 120 words plus a minute) at least 700 scans , and last a massive effort in PDF'ing the entire 29 volumes THEN organizing it in a menu driven CD so it is easy to find everything...It has been launched and in progress!!!As of yesterday...

Cool stuff 307, Im sure you will do well on sales.
ebay buy it now is probaly a good way to sell and international post would be easy with a cd.
