Is there company that make a external vox or voice activation which you can plug your mic into then go to your radio? Such as i have a old Galaxy 22B with a hand mike. Some times on the Nets i have my hands full, Such as logging or on the computer, trying to do 4 or 5 things at the same time kinda gets hecktic. Or Do they make a desk mic with a built in (vox)? I thought i might ask this ? THANKS FOR ANY HELP HAL |

Amateur Radio Supply, and I'm sure others, have these goodies. I'm not sure if any or all of the VOX mics listed actually have the vox unit built into th emic or part of the mating radio, but I'm sure if you call aES they can tell you which units are stand-alone.

What you need is a foot switch to key your radio. Å STEVE "Tech181" Tech181@copperelectronics.com |

i have a road noise vox in my toyota, vox mode no good there. picks up vehicle noise and is always keying. was in garage before that and was no good there because it would pick up sound from ext speaker and constantly key up. adjusting sensitivity was no good either. aj |

There used to be a guy in my area who had VOX and a case of loud, unexpected flatulence...not a good combination. |
