Is the RANGER RCI 2990DX radio a good radio. Would you recommend it. I am planning on getting one.

i have bought 2 of them from Copper and they are GREAT
go to the copper auction and get a brand new unit VERY CHEAP $480.00 is what i paid for one and $500.00 for the second i did the conversion for 24-32 Mhz myself as im sure you can as long as you can use a phillips screwdriver here is the link for the auction check it out and bid on it!!

If I let Copper do the 11 meter mod, will I still get full coverage on 10 and 12 meters.

yes you will get it and if you do the 11meter mod you will also get the 10-11-12 meter coverage

i really like these radios they are very powerfull rigs and sound awesome when setup the right way. |

I have had mind for about 2weeks now. It has been so far the best stock radio i have ever run in 25 years.
