CAN NOT GET A 10.240 READING ON L61 FOR ADJ ON VC1 ALL OOOOOOO. REPLACED 10.240 CRYSTAL AND IC 17 NO LUCK. 2.2 VDC ON L17 &1.2 VDC ON L21 IC 7. WHEN RADIO WAS TURNED ON & TALKED ON AFTER ABOUT 5 MINUNTS WHILE TALKING THE RADIO WOULD JUST DRIFT OFF ABOUT 3 TO4 CHANNELS AND SLOWLEY COME BACK TO THE ONE I WAS ON. ANY HELPFULL HINTS WOULD BE GREATLEY APPRICATED.

my experience with this radio when this happens, is that resoldering the entire pll/vco area will fix the problem. sometime it has not. the 2950's pll system is complicated. infact, there is 2 vco's. so if resoldering this area does not fix it, then there isn't much more you can do on your own.
