Hi Team,
Has anyone else tried to replace the coax on a K40 Magnetic Mount?I have a K40 Magnetic Mount with a shortend length of coax hanging off it.I would like to install 18 feet of RG8X coax but can not get into the base section.I have stripped it down past the swival mount, backed off and removed the grub screw and clipped out the spring clip that retains the base fitting into the swival mount housing.K40 crimp sealed the base section housing with the coax in place. It appears to me that K40 did not have the repairer in mind when they engineered these antennas.Any ideas would be mostly appreciated.

I think it's time for a new Wilson antenna

Hello Team,Sparkomatic I would buy a Wilson,I have a Wilson 1000 already,if I could but there are no outlets here in my country and none of the outlets for Wilson in the U.S. can find a shipping agent that will take an oversized parcel. As we speak I have a parcel which has been ready to go for a month or more containing 2x 5000,1 x 1000 and three 66" whips already to go with one agent who is attempting to find a shipping agent who can deliver.
Back to the K40,I see on the K40 web page they list a coax cable but I am not sure if that is what I require as they do not specify what is terminated at each end.
