Hey 307 or other Techs, I own a Sears Road Talker that is in exceptionally great shape.Hey I realize it is no Galaxy, Cobra or Superstar but it is a decent 40 channel which I use to drive a TNT super modulator. My question is: will a part #c4p5din adapter convert this mike to a 4 pin Cobra plug, my hope is that it will so I willnot have to re-wire one of my Cobra/ Connex mikes??

Dmh,

Sorry, No it will not work.

The C4P5DIN is For Cobra/Uniden to Cobra/Uniden Only.

The Sears Roadtalker wiring is totally different.

You will need to get a regular 5 Pin Din Plug
Like the one shown below.

http://www.copperelectronics.com/cgi-bin/checkitout/checkitout.cgi?catalogSTORE:CKIE:prodM20-00022+

Wiring for the Sears Roadtalker will be:

PIN #1 ~ SHIELD
PIN #2 ~ N/C
PIN #3 ~ TRANSMIT
PIN #4 ~ AUDIO
PIN #5 ~ RECEIVE

Hope this help's.
