I looked at 3 different schematics , most likely it is Q34. (could be different in your radio) It is the ONLY transistor next to the Audio Amp that is mounted on the LEFT REAR side of the CB looking down into the componant side of the radio , knobs toward you.

HUH! I thought the audio amp was on the right side of the radio if the knobs are faceing you, and looking at the component side.
must be a new design!

looking at schematics are confusing at times! i've been working on radios for quite a few years now, and i been reading your posts for a long time, you helped me on some tricky fixes in the past, YOU ARE THE MAN 307! I'm just glad i could help!
