Talkback on the 510xl is easy and you have two ways to do it.

You can place a 100 ohm resistor from the External Speaker Ground to Main PC Board Ground

or

You can place a 100 ohm resistor from pin 1 to pin 4 on the microphone jack.

If you're using an echo mic I ususally put talkback into the microphone in case you need to use the microphone on another radio without talkback.

thanks alot also why doesnt my echo board a workman bb3 not work on this radio?????
