have a problem.
ill be talking and all of a sudden the radio will stop transmitting i smack the radio and it will start transmitting again.should i get a big hammer.

It could be a bad mic cord. Do you see swing on the meter when you are keyed up?

when it works. when it goes out nothing on the meter.
tryed several mikes .
after a good smack all is well.
i guess i use it titt i burns up.

you have a cold solder connection somewhere on that board. where is hard to say, but you have one.

Use a eraser from the top circuit side with alittle pressure you can find it. I use a new pencil ! More than likely front left side of board.
