I have a tv antenna mounted on a 40' tower for my local stations that my satellite doesn't provide. I would like to extend the center mast about 10' and place a cb antenna above my tv antenna. Will I have problems with tx/rx or swrs with this type of setup.

GI JOE,

If you get the antenna 10' above the TV antenna, it should work okay. However you may have some TVI problems with the CB antenna that close to the TV antenna.

I tried that with an A-99, nothing but headaches. Even with low power, the family could not watch the local stations when I was on the air! Get it as far away as possible from the tv antenna!!

It will work fine as long as you do one thing or the other.Ratchet jaw on the radio or watch the tele but not both at the same time.

Thanks alot for the info, I don't normally watch local tv except for the news in the morning and at night. Any other time the satellite is on, so I shouldn't have a problem, hopefully.
