an aquaintance has an amp ,a 3 tuber 1000 watt 1 modulator and 2 finals he said the local techs referred to the tubes as milk bottles,a tech freind of mine told me if I could get my hands on it don't let it go,said one of the cleanest amps ever made and only needed 2-4 watts to be fully driven they knew the name and told me but I can't recall,you guys got any ideas?Bigbob

Did they call it a JB2000? There was a version with a driver tube.

No it is an old unit,I keep thinking halicrafter but that's not it either,it reminded me of an old model auto,the name that is,it weighs about 60 pounds.Bigbob

I have another it is called a Marco 100 f 40-10 meter amplifier... 3 toggle switches= rcvr on=ssb=pwr on and 4 small red lights=am?=pwr amp=rec amp=rf..
Think about sending this to Bruce or whoever.....

i like how the hill billys call 3-1000z and 3-500z tubes quart jars and fruit jars. it funny to hear them talking about it,it always makes me think of my grandmother canning.
