mr.tech....have a 2970dx,get good reports on signal but say i have a muffled auido..i run a 575 mike,i use 10 or under deadkeys..max dead key is set at 62 on mine minium is3 1\2..ived tried different mikes ,not that,i tun mike gain on radio at 2;00,,gain on mike1\4 way up..hk |

Tone on the 575 while running AM makes a big difference. Try running it at 50% or better on the microphone. For SSB, around 25% should do the trick. |
