How can radio shack claim their new whip antenna 21-903 will out perform any coil type antenna from any manufacture? thanks 619

Well that is really very easy, they just type the ad up and expect everyone to believe it. And figure most people will not know the difference and believe it.

the longer the antenna the better it works so if it is a 102 inch wip it will on the same mount.

Missleading statment otherwise.

What length coax should I us on the 64 whip,
IT does have a small non adjustable coil built into the bottom of the whip. I am going to try it and see how it compares to the wilson 500.

Personally I think the 102" whip is the only way to go if you have the room....I love mine
