sorry if this is a double post new to the forum and i cant find my first post anywere.

but does anyone have info on cleaning up and tuneing a midland 77-099?

Tune up for your Midland 77-099 is:

Modulation: Adjust RV4

AM Power: Adjust L10, L11, L13

another quesiton for you, cracked open the cb since my meter arrived and found that the 3 spots i have to adjust are just copper coils not one of those hany screwdriver ajustable parts.

can i still tune it? and if i can how do i go about ajusting the coils.

lol now that some of the newbie in me has worn off and i found the simple info i needed, and i can put it to use im 2 ta 4 or 6 swing depending on the channel.

You can spread them apart using a small tuning screw driver sometimes for more carrier or less your preference. I like swing I usually do for less. Just depends on application.
