i know copper use to sell the eagletomahawk 10 meter base now i got one here has good rx but no tx i replaced the am modulator and pre-driver but still no juice to the final or driver bias's is there a dioed there some where that can be causeing this

look at the big yellow resistors behind the mic plug, inside the radio. I'll bet there toasts?

ok whats the value of the yellow resistors and if the mic was bad how would that cause no volts to the final or driver how would that cause that

hey ae548 these are green red red gold silver are these special resistors i'm going to wire a mic up and try that i forget if i checked it then i'm going to try the resistors

well try mic and is working now on to check the resistors on the back of the mic jack.Now any of you copper techs have anyother ideas on this the am reg is new.Also what legs on the am reg do i lift to see if i'm getting and voltage to it thats the only other thing i could think of
