are the knobs on this radio suppose to be loose and sloppy or do i need to tighen them

Controls in radios that are put to mobile use will sometimes vibrate loose. I have seen this happen to the ON/OFF Volume controls more often with the 148's than anything else. This can happen to ANY radio used in a car or truck.

i bought a used deltaforce.but the mod transister is removed trying to find transister part #
is it a 945?

man my exes are bad i found the transister but i cant read the number on it.if sombody has better eyes.i could use the help all i can see is 2sc---

the knobs on my Delta Force are the same as yours. Tech 181 addressed this same issue when he did a review of the 257 a long while back here under the subscribers preview.

I am overseas but have the schematics at home. If you have time to wait, I'll give you the information in a month or two.
