When using a 40 amp power supply, can you hook up a radio and a small amp at the same time???say a 250 Palomar mobil amp????? thanks

I would say it would be NO problem. Check the amperage for each using low power and increase it slowly watching the meter on the power supply. My ICOM using 5 to 10 amps. My KL-500 uses 25 amps at stage 3 driving it with 4 Watts.

My HR2510 uses 7 amps and the Galaxy350 uses 25 amps, but I have to watch it close with that set-up. I can get loud sometimes and it drives the amp higher resulting in more amps needed...
