Just wanted to know, Im using 50ft of RG8 coax to my antenna and I was wondering if it would be a good idea to stick with RG8 for some jumpers I need to make up for my amp and watt meter or would it be ok to use RG8X for the jumpers?

Bill,

I have done it both ways and it seems to work fine with the Mini-8 jumpers. I have found that using the heavier coax for jumpers causes wear and tear on the connections if you are one that constantly moves or disconnects jumpers because of how stiff they are in short sections (especially RG-213). The Mini-8 is more flexible and easier to manage.
