Someone gave me a HY_GAIN. Does anyone know what the pin configuration is for the Mic plug on the radio. Its a five pin din and I was hoping if possible to change it to a four pin. or at least try. I don't like din connectors. Personnel thing I guess. To me they look cheap. |

if it has the 3 xtal pl02 chip it is real easy to put on 29.0 am not a bad little radio |

My mistake its a hy-gain 2701 40 channel. Found this out after I had Time to look at it. Like I said some one gave it to me. But thank you for your answer I really do appreciate the info |

Is there any way to get talk back in this radio. It has a ext spkr jack and a remote speaker jack. |

Thanks for the info on mike wiring. But I am a little lost. Where does the mike return go if I try to make it a four pin.Number 1 Pin.
Also is the din plug read left to right, when you look at the guide built into the radio mic connector |
