Techs'If I ordered a galaxy 77 from copper, would they disable the talkback for me upon request before shipping ? Thanks much |

Nomeancity, The warranty is the same problem the Copper Tech would have if he performed the modification. If something would go wrong with the radio then they could say the modification caused the problem or it was done improperly and voided the Warranty. And if you break the warranty seal generally your Warranty is Voided. I would suggest using it for a few month's and then if you decided you want mod's done you will have to ask yourself if you want to take the chance of voiding the warranty. Very true Lon,Wouldn't hurt to try it. These new radios are so different inside, I think I'll buy a 77 & just leave it alone. Glad your always here Lon,There's no techs within 60 miles of here I trust. |

Why not just open the cover and unhook the wire...later on hook it back up should a problem arise and send it off? I don't see how unhooking one wire for talkback would cause a problem anyway and I have several new galaxy radios and I have yet to see a seal on any of them? Am I getting ripped by _&_? |
