how can I get my receive up on my 55 I can hook up my 77 and it has great receive on the same antenna it receives but not to good think it needs a hearing aid? |

Can anyone tell me how Ican get more receive out of my galaxy 55. with my 77 hooked up I can hear good but the 55 just doesnt hear so well maybe it needs a hearing aid

no hearing aid...it needs to have the rx realigned to the cb freqs. all galaxies come with the rx portion tuned to the ham bands. so after conversion, the rx needs to realigned. the correct way to do this is with a low level rf gen and a sinad meter or scope hooked to the speaker leads.
