Hi brand new poster long time radio talker.

I have an issue

I recently got back into the CB hobby and I thought I had a pretty good setup building, but I am havin gissues.

First I will list equipment and then I will tell my issue

I have a Magnum Delta Force
Wilson 5000 antenna
Texas Star 250 (with 2 2879's)ie (350)
Radio Shack Swr 2000 watt digital Meter
Radio Shack 80 channel scanner
Larsen nmo 2/70(for scanner)
Yaesu FT-90 Dual band mobile
Diamond SG7500 Dual Band antenna
In a 2000 Toyota Tundra

Well my issue is I just put the Magnum DF and the wilson and it worked good and made a few contacts.
I put the 250 in and my meter shows good out put with a 1.3:1 swr with pwr and a 1.0:1 with out.
But it seems that no one can hear me.

I have tried and tried to get a contact or a radio check but no one will come back like there is no output but according to my meter and everything I see it is working perfectly. keying about 150 swinging about 330 to 350

I do notice that the bands are little quieter than I used to remember but I can hear stations perfectly.

I am not a new comer to this type of setup and I used to run a TS ModV on a sweet 16 with no issues whatsoever on another vehicle.

What can it be? Jumpers?.....Voltage is not an issue...I have a Rockford Fosgate Gell cell battery...not sure what amp alt.....Swr is great...

After I find out the issue I want to use the amp I have now to drive a bigger amp....What do you suggest?

Help I have never been a mud duck(in my area anyways) I know I cant hang with the big boys.
