Hi, I'm new to this site so I hope this is the right forum for my question. I'm installing the amp in a '01 Ford F450. I removed the lower dash panel and there is a lot of room under the steering colum to mount the amp. Will there be enough air flow and will the amp cause any problems with the other electronic components under the dash?

Bobc49,

First off WELCOME TO THE COPPER FORUM!

With the KL-200P I would suggest just using a Velcro Pad and attaching it direct to the radio.

They do not tend to run hot and can be mounted just about anywhere.

Hope this helps.

Bob try Lon's suggestion. I have my wifes KL-200 mounted exactly the same way to her radio which is a stock Uniden PC 68 LTW and it works out very well. Very nice combination too I might add she didn't anything with "too many knobs"!!!! Nice punchy audio and CLEAN.
