I have a Uniden Washington and the needle on my signal meter swings backwards on receive. Can anyone help?

Mine does the same thing. I find when I turn the RF gain down to where the station gives me below 7 S units, the needle swings forward. Weird. Mine has the 8719 PLL in it.

I have owned 4 of these radios...They all did the same thing. I belive Slickasice's comment. Other than that they are great radios!!! I wouldn't/won't/can't trade, sell, or lend mine!!
