DX 66 HAS LOW VOLUME FROM INTERAL SPEAKER,ALSO TRYED EXTENSION SPEAKER,WITH VOL.TURNED ALL THE WAY UP...NEED HELP? |

WELCOME TO THE COPPER FORUM!
It could be the result of several different things.
Have you owned this radio since new or just get it?
Did this problem happen all of a sudden or slowley develop over time?
Check you audio Limiter and make sure it is working.

Just trying to help my Dad out he hook up the radio backwards,I replaced, J504,C507,C506,LT6A,L504,L503,D93,AND SPEAKER.SEEM TO WORK OK FOR A WEEK THEN VOL.BECAME LOW WITH VOL.ALL THE WAY UP..THANKS FOR THE HELP |

HEY LON TECH 808,CHECKED TR55 AMC AMP DONT UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU SAID ABOUT ADJUSTING TR53 HOW DO YOU ADJUST A 2SC945 TRANSISTOR? THE VOLTAGE ARE 0.74 ON E PIN 8.10 ON C PIN AND 2.02 ON B PIN.GALAXY SAYS 1.70 ON E,7.70 ON C,AND 0.90 ON B PIN. SO THIS IS OUT OF SPEC.RIGHT?....SHOULD BE REPLACED???????? MOONSHINNER |
