Teham

You will need a frequency counter for this adjustment.

Put your clarifier at EXACTLY center-slot and adjust L-23 for center A/M frequency on (27.205.0) channel 20.

If you have been playing with the upper (L-59) and lower (L-22) sideband coils, chances are they are out of tune also.

You can get your clarifier back to the correct sideband frequency (or close to it) by being on center-slot and using (L-59 upper) and (L-22 lower) to clarify into a known good frequency source such as another sideband radio. Hopefully one that you know is "ON" frequency when it is at center-slot.

I agree with Jeff. Before I got a freq counter, I used another radio as a monitor. It works great! Good luck Teham. icepick
