Hi all

I am in the process of replacing a mast and have decided to mount all my antennas on this new mast. The antennas are 11 meter, 6 meter and a 2 meter/70 cm combo. I am curious as to how close/far from the mast and other antenna each should be. My plan is to have the 11 M at the top of the mast and the other two somewhere below that one and out some distance.

Thanks in advance for any info.

In commercial radio, we call it 'side mounting'. Decibel products has a great page in their catalog showing what happens to antenna pattern at various distances from the tower (mast in your case).

For signal traveling away from the mast, mount the antenna 1/4 wave away. For a pattern that runs mostly perpendicular to the axis between the antenna and the mast, mount the antenna 1/2 wave away. As you get over 1 wavelength spacing from the tower (mast), the pattern becomes more omnidirectional, but still has lumps and bumps all around in various places.
