the radio new was great but over about a year the receive has started to fade. i run this radio as a base and in my truck and i seem to have the same problem.at first i thought it was antennas but the radio performs the same.PLEASE HELP .,thanx

If I recall, some years back I ran into a problem like that with an old Galaxy.

Just for the heck of it, replace C-151 and see if your receive doesn't come back. You also might want to try the same thing with C-194. These two electrolitic capacitors are fairly close together near the long audio chip on the very righthand side of the radio. Also, take note of the polarity when replacing these caps.

NOTE: (I'm not real positive if these capacitor numbers are correct or not).

If this doesn't work, hopefully someone else here on the forum has some ideas.
