i have a ss 3900g that was sent to a shop in jackson ms, it came back with the tx meter barely moving although pwr output is normal and the recieve is very weak in the radio , any help appreciated |

VR2 - SSB/CW S METER ADJUST
VR3 - SSB SQUELCH RANGE
VR4 - AM SQUELCH RANGE

VR7 - CARRIER BALANCE ADJUST
VR8 - RF METER ADJUST <--------------The one you want
VR10 - FINAL BIAS ADJUST
VR11 - DRIVER BIAS ADJUST
VR12 - ALC ADJUST
VR13 - AM POWER ADJUST
VR14 - AMC
VR16 - CW MON ADJUST
VR21 - Tx FREQUENCY ADJUST
TR32 - IS THE AMC LIMITER
Just tune it in...

the tx meter doesnt move harly at all, even though i have tuned it all the way out. And the recieve is actually low not just on the rx meter.. ****anyone had this problem/? |

sounds like someone was messing with some limiters... i will try to find a list of the limiters for that radio.. |
