I just bought a new Connex dx with echo from copper. When you first turn it on, it's always a few hundred hertz from where you had it when you turned it on. When I'm driving around it moves around. Even from channel to channel it is different. When I key up, and I'm on say, 272050 it will go to about 272055 or 45 or sometimes up to 272057. I was wondering if anyone has had that much of a drift problem with this radio. I called the tech here at copper and he told me to send it back. I don't really want to cause of the time it takes, but I don't want my radio all over the place either.

After it's warmed up to room temp or about 20 mins (whichever comes first) it will stabilize.
Don't bother sending it back, that's normal.

I have already sent it back. When it warms up it doesn't drift so much on recieve, but still drifts alot on transmit. Seems like an awefull lot of drift.
