i hope im posting this in the right place.
i was looking at the "bargains" area on this site, and i saw a few radios that are said to be non working, but the problem sounds like a dead battery for cpu memory. these radios were basically 2950's on the inside. my question is, "are these radios chaecked out by you techs and deemed unfixable? how much testing goes into the determination? i think i see some good deals but im leary because if you guys cant fix 'em, i know i cant. i also saw some president lincolns on there. are they the originals or new models. if theyre the old style then ive got to have one!
please help!

Kid vicious,

Many of the radios and equipment in the Bargin Area that are non-working have not been bench tested to locate the problems.

These are units that have been replaced with new equipment under warranty.

Copper does not have a Service Department for Radio Repairs so they are Sold as Is with the problems that are known of mentioned in the ads.

The In House Copper Tech does not have the time to try and repair them.

Sorry but Copper is not in the Used Radio business.

The Lincolns that are Listed are the NEW models of the ORIGNAL Lincolns still made in the same factory as the older Lincolns and literally NO DIFFERENCE except for newer components.

VERY LITTLE HAS BEEN CHANGED OVER THE YEARS.

ALL of the QUALITY and PERFORMANCE and RELIABILTY is STILL THERE that was in the Original / Older HR2510's and Lincoln's.

I have owned many of the Older 2510s and Lincolns as well as owning a NEW LINCOLN and you can trust me it is Still one of the FINEST Radios Made on the Market and the Quality & Performance that made them FAMOUS is STILL THERE.

Hope this helps.
