can anybody recomend a book that I could read to help me learn how to tune up a radio. I know theres not a whole lot to it. RF power and modulation and making sure its on frequency. But is there a good book to read, do I need skematics on every radio. Any input would be great thanks

To do it right you need the proper test equipment, especially for the receiver side of things (which is the most important part of any tune-up, IMO.)

i had my radio tuned and he opemed i[ the recieve, but now whenever i go through a light it makes all kinds of noise

i've been using screwdriver experts guide for 25 years. on at least my 3rd copy. when brainfreeze occurs, i just open it up-darn, which end is cathode, what is velocity factor of?, base-collector-emitter, have used my understanding and repairing book more times than i can remeber also.

Patzerozero,
