Sonoma, I too have a CHEROKEE 1000 and was wondering the same thing. I haven't had a chance to try any of the old ways, like jumping to the speaker or using the PA and ext speaker cross jump with a resistor on the bottom of the board. Come to think of it, I don't recall the radio having a PA in the back..lol
