Can anyone please tell me the difference between these two antennas, I might not be a big deal but I found these two for antennas for sale and want to get the best one or if there is no real difference between them I might buy them both.

Please techs ,do you know the difference between the newer and older model of the PDL-2, is one better than the other?

Sorry but No I do not know of any difference.
Avanti / Antenna Specialists PDL-II Model AV-122 Antenna
But since production of them was DISCONTINUED several years ago now, I personally would not recommend buying one if you can still find one as any replacement parts would be almost impossible to get if anything like the Hubs or anything else were to break.
I have seen just the Hubs go for MORE money than the whole Antenna used to cost New on the Internet Auction Sites.

i believe the one number was the old avanti number and one is the newer antenna specialists number. don't know which is which. antennas should be basicly the same though. good luck |

Thats all I needed to know. I already bought one at a good price to put up and had a chance to buy another at a great price.I have a friend that works at a machine shope who is making me a couple of new hubs from lexan block for replacement if the plastic ones go bad. I still am going to buy a Comet from copper for later mounting.
