Hello,
Just got an S-9 and converted it and the channel indicator is one channel off, like when its on 18 its actually 19. How can I fix this?
Thanks
Terry

Done that alreay, it doesn't work(10kc swith), neither does the noise blanker... :-(
I might need to program it, I didn't have time to do that last night I just set the jumper. I hope that fixes when I get a chance to this weekend.

One other note, I get two pounds of RF noise from the ECM on my Freightliner, anyone know how to shield or filter this out? I've added a line filter and regrounded everthing to make sure.
Thanks
Terry

normally the simplest solution is the best...
channel 19, if memory serves is 27.1850 and 27.1950 (what should be 19) actualy doesn't exsist (only as an "A" channel)
could that be it?
Hope that helps

Coorect,
Channel 19 is suppose to be 27.1850 and on my S-9 channel 19 shows 27.1950 and the 10Khz swith does work, go figure.
So when the channel indicator reads 18 then its on 27.1850.

For anyone else that noticed the LEDS and super brite even on dim, in the night, I cut a couple small pieces of window tint 35% to the appropriate sizes and laid those over the channel and freq counter displays no on dim its just about right and doesn't distract night driving.
