Hi, I have a 97 toyota corola and Im trying to mount a 148 gtl and my kl200p somehow. I was trying to mount it to the side of the shifter but the curvature of the plastic on the car is hard to connect to, I was also thinking about mounting to the "glove box" or on the dash. I am also if posible trying not to put obvious holes all over the car body but I may end up having to. I need some suggestions on how to mount this thing thanks.

One thing to keep in mind when mounting on the top of dash. It might look great in a car or pick up, but it immediately INVITES trouble!
I would love to have mine on the top of dash, due to convenience, but again, it only invites trouble.

kieth is right, it is a magnet for theft on top of the dash! but another thing people don't normaly think about being on top of the dash is how hot the sun can make that black casing and how hot every thing gets inside...bad, very bad

Thanks for your suggestions, I think i figured out how i will do this: I plan to cut out a piece of thin plywood and mess with it until it can go somewhat flush to the right of the shifter and i will then bolt the mounting braket to this and velcrow this piece of plywood to the car. Hopefully I can get this plywood to be flush enough to be strong enough with the velcro, although i do have some somewhat heavy duty velcro - the radio is pretty heavy.

WA4ZDY was my brother BOB and as always his call would be 3 times the size of mine . This photo was taken in Largo Florida in the summer of 1975. In Sept (75) i bought a 1976 AMC HORNET and bob took title to the VW selling it in 1978.
