i have just one quick question. i reciently ordered a imax because i liked my last one so much, but i need to know what size masting i need to run. i want the correct size for the u bolts on the bottom.

my last imax lasted at least 5 years untill i moved and i left it. im planning on using some thickwalled conduit or galvanized water pipe, base of antenna will be 25 foot off the ground.

Mrbigshot,

WELCOME TO THE COPPER FORUM!

The mounting u-bolts that come with the IMAX have a 1-3/4 ID so you will need a 1-3/4 OD mast pipe.

Hope this helps,

Lon

Well that is a problem. I have several Imax and they all allow only a 1.5" mast pipe. Maybe 808 has something new that Solarcon has changed in their antenna.
