My friend just hooked up his SuperStar that he purchased from Copper....He wanted me to ask about the Roger Beep always on........Is there a way to stop this.......Thanks |

I haven't seen radio yet but from what he was saying there is no off and on switch for the Roger Beep......Is there a resister or something that can be clipped to stop this.........He's already getting harrased on SSB for Roger Beep always on......LOL........Any help would be appreciated.......Thanks |

open the radio
find the wire that says j9
cut it in half
no more beep if you want you can
hook a switch between the wire you cut
attach it to a off-on switch
and you can have it off or on

Thanks for the info, it was much needed......Like I said earlier, I've never seen the radio, just heard it on SSB.......I can't believe they don't have a off and on switch for the Roger Beep.......Anyways, thanks again . I'll relay it to my friend........73's |
