Have found in very nice shape Cobra 148gtl-b,only poblem it does not work,no receive no transmit ,tx/rx lite does not change,when I key mic I get a sharp squeal coming from speaker and no movement on srf meter,no wattage out on my dosy ,I do here my modulation if I hook up to the pa jack any help would be great,probably some bad caps but I do not know which ones |

I would check mic wiring first....does the meter show receieved s-readings? |

I'm guessing your final is blown,most likelly cause but surelly not the only possible cause. |
