How much drive should I put in and how much output should I expect using a cobra 29 ltd. It is a mobile 2 pill. Not shure what pills though. It was bought at a Flea market for $4.00

open it up & see what's in it. probably 2 mrf477's. maybe 455's at best. assuming it's 'older'. if it's newer, there's an SD transistor in the 30-40 watt range, 1280 something. 3 watts dead key is good. don't go crazy with swing if the 29 is modded big time though. 455's can't take much more then 15 watts pep, 477's a lot less.

hmmmm...never seen a 1047, an sd1407 is a 100 watt transistor. if it was 2 of those they'd probably call the amp a XX250 or something.
1407's will handle 2.5 watts in, less then 4 watts from a cobra would be fine with them. they'd do about 80 dead key, 180 swing. can't help ya if it is 1047 though.
