Tech833 suggessted bending the Radial Bracket so the elements would be at a 30 degree angle and I went a little past that and with the IMAX 2000 at 40' to the coax conector it made a MAJOR DIFFERENCE in Transmit and Receive!

Hmm, you pointed them down correct? Wonder if this will work on a Maco v5000? What does this do to the take off angle?
Thanks,

Beantown,

By bending the Corners more in the direction that comes from the factory it RASIED the elements UP more like the Maco V-5000.

They are very easy to bend as I just put each corner in a vise and bent them to where I wanted them.

Also my IMAX is ABOVE the 36' mark to the coax connector.

As to what it does for the take off angle I cannot say and will leave this for someone who is more knowledgeable than Iam on Base Omni Antennas to answer.

I know the GP Kit worked on Antennas below the 36' mark to the Coax Conector and after talking with Tech833 he suggested bending the bracket and putting it on my IMAX with it being ABOVE above the 36' mark.

All I know is it WORKED and Increased both my Transmit and Receive signals with Locals and DXing.

Last Sunday was the FIRST time since the CEF Nets started that I did NOT have to use the beams for any contacts.
