thanks...the radio is tx about 4kc below on ssb i have a 10 kc slide on the radio...maybe the rx and not tx ...what do you think? I adjust the clarifier to rx the clearest and tx and every on says im 4kc's below.... again what do you think...
i need the ssb tx freq.,am tx freq.,am power.,and is there a mod to boost the receive?

TP8 with freq counter: Channel 19 , Receive mode , Adjust

AM:CT6 for 34.9850
USB: CT4 for 34.9875
LSB: CT5 for 34.9825
LSB:"TX"VR9 for 34.9825....This is the one screwed up on your radio...

TP9 with freq counter: Channel 19 , Transmit mode , Adjust

USB:"TX"CT2 for 7.8025
LSB: "TX" CT3 for 7.7975

AM Power: CT7
SSB Power:VR8
AMC:VR7

The Cobra 139XLR has a relay in it. Most likely try to install a .01 uF ceramic capacitor from pin 10 of IC4 to the Speaker Positive lead...Let me know , I am curious...

i want to install i good freq counter..which do you recommend for this radio and how easy or hard is it going to be to install!

There are two different versions of the 139XLR. However IC4 is at the rear of the radio , almost on the back panel , right smack in the middle of the rear edge.
