im thinking bout buying a maco 5/8 g/p ive read the info on tuning this . if i remember right its like 240 inches total lenth for 27mgh. now my question is this my home channel is 27800 now thats still within the 27mgz range but its also very close to the 28 mgz so would i tune this for 27 or 28 .i thought this was a very interesting question .if tune to 28 mgz what would the 27 mgz be.

Hi Dale, I have my Maco 5/8 tuned to 27mhz and go on the upper channels alot and when I check the swrs on them frequecies it`s less than 1.2 so if you do buy one just adjust it for swrs closer to the frequency you use most.
