A FRIEND OF MINE HAS A BIG HOME MADE POWER SUPPLY HIS DAD WHO WAS A HAM OPERATOR MADE. HIS DAD PASTED AWAY AND I HAVE A CHANCE TO GET IT REALLY CHEAP. BUT IT HAS A HUMM IN IT. MY QUESTION IS WHAT IS THE USUAL CAUSE OF HUMM IN A POWER SUPPLY. I JUST NEED TO KNOW WHERE TO START LOOKING.
