ive noticed the 3k looks very much like the anttron 1700 . did asatic use anttrons ideas? just curious. |

Sorry but no the Anttron A-1700 is nothing like the Astatic 3k Antenna.
They are not even close to looking the same.
The a-1700 is a Wire wound Fiberglass Whip Antenna.
The Astatic 3K is a Linear Load Design antenna.
Maybe the pictures make them look a little like the same but Major Size differene in the Astatic 3K.
And they are two totally different designed antennas.
