I just won a trc-490 on e-bay. would like to send it in to coppers for maintenance, blow out any dust, lube/clean the control knobs/switches, COMPLETE RX/Tx alignment, and channelguard install.
would it be possible to have it shipped direct to coppers from the seller??

Funtimebob,

Sorry, but the in house Copper Tech only works on radios purchased direct from Copper Electronics and covered under the Copper Warranty if there is a problem.

For the work that you want to have done to it you will need to find a Radio Tech around your area to this type of work.

Radio Shack has a service center in Texas, just go to any Radio Shack Store and ask about the service center.
