Ok Guys I have a Hurricane 350 mobile pill amp, It powers up ok and the pre-amp seems to work somewhat.
It wont put out any wattage at all.
could this mean blown pills or that and more?
Also I have a Palomar 225 that is doing the same.
Any help on this? |

That is such a cute little avatar,need the parameters of your tests,you sure radio is ok,is jumper ok,is relay working,click-click when keying,is watt meter ok,if all these are so then it will probably cost less to buy a brand new one than to repair these,unless you can do it yourself.Off hand yeah sounds like pills and you may have cracked transformers,too,depends how much heat was generated. |
