My unpeaked Galaxy 95T keys 60, and swings up to around 180. |

I am not for sure Grumpy. I have a turbo also but with a switch on da back an all I get is bout 90 watts. But I think my internal amp is fried an thats why they put a switch on it. The best person to ask is Tech808 cause I know he has one an it does more than that. Allen CEF565 |

ok that is how he set the radio thats with the rf power all the way open. I have a rci 2990 that is the same radio and I read people getting 250 watts out of them?? ok thanks |

all depends on the quality of the meter being used by each different person. also, on some meters, you may read 150 watts on a 200 watt scale, & 300 watts on a 2000 watt scale. always use the smallest scale without full deflection. |

i wouldn't trust the word of a tech that gets 250 watts out of 2 80 watt transistors in a 110volt AC powered radio. give or take 10% tolerances & variables, 160 watts is it. |

my turbo only does 100 watts on sideband on AM AND FM it does 50 watts and that's peaked out.Id check it yourself with your own meter first.Do any of you have any problems with the recieve on this radio like me? |

ok well i guess its my radio then the recieve sounds like my speaker is blow out so i replaced it and it still has this sound i don't know why its doing this.oh well

ok i was thiking and i forgot about swing kits i bet your radio has a swing kit in it mine does not.but i was told swing kits are only good for Am and not sideband? |
