ok here it goes...what do they have to change in an amp to talk on on different freqs? or should i say Mhz.

depends on the amp most cb amps will go 25-29 mhz

ok but what the difference inside of one for cb and what different in one say for 6 meter band.

Most have L/C networks in them for the various bands and they use low-beta semi-coductors in them to reduce self occillation on the lower freqs.The sd1446 can be used well on 6-meters/fm,but never opened one up for 6/meters,would think it has L/C circuits too.Bigbob

The value of the input and output parts as frequency changes the value of the coils and caps needed to tune the transistors changes.
